Jason Sallam’s eye for interesting and collectable antiques began at a very young age, taking after his mother who was also a keen collector and dealer. As a child Jason was a collector of coins, stamps and anything satisfying his interests in history. Aged 10, Jason began buying and selling items with his school peers and people in his local area. Later at age 14, Jason began working with an antiques dealer within a popular Cardiff antiques centre, later becoming a partner in the business at 18.

With help from the Prince’s Youth Business Trust, Jason began his antiques business, operating within markets and fairs around South Wales and Bath, during this time still learning through trading and building his skill set in order to progress in the antiques field.

Having established himself as a reputable dealer, Jason has built up a great wealth of experience in the field of antiques – specialising in coins, jewellery, silver and gold, furniture and all manner of decorative items. Jason receives recommendations from previous satisfied clients, auction houses, members of the trade and legal professionals. Auction houses often seek help from Jason on the identification of specialist items, legal professionals use Jason’s knowledge for probate valuations and he often helps members of the public to achieve the best possible prices for their items. Jason has been a stallholder at prestigious fairs around the UK & Europe and attending auctions all across the country for decades.
